In May, global crude steel production was 174.4 million tonnes, an increase of 16.5 year-on-year

n 28 June, the World Steel Association (WSA) released its global crude steel production figures for May. 64 countries and regions worldwide included in the WSA statistics produced 174.4 million tonnes of crude steel in May, up 16.5 year-on-year.
